A pair of shoes sounds small. For a child walking to tutoring every day in La Carpio, it's one less reason to miss school. Every dollar goes straight to the ILORI Educational Program.
Secure checkout completes on our banking partner's page (BAC · Yomeuno). That step is in Spanish, everything else on this page is not.
Join us in supporting the education of at-risk children. Only education guarantees a better future for the boys and girls of the La Carpio community, and only through education can we build a fairer, more prosperous country. By educating the most vulnerable, we all move forward together.
WWDF / Bien de Mujer is a nonprofit creating opportunities for children and women at social risk, so they can break the cycle of poverty and reach real social mobility. Our ILORI Educational Program supports 200 children with tutoring that secures academic success and physical, artistic, and socio-emotional growth. Through Granos Solidarios (Solidarity Grains), we also partner with 70 women, walking alongside them toward emotional and economic independence through solidarity, empowerment, and entrepreneurship.
"To contribute to the empowerment of women and the education of children through training programs that develop their full potential, from an integral, humanist, and gender-aware perspective."
"A fair and equitable society offering women and children greater, better opportunities to develop their full potential, for their own well-being, their community's, and the environment around them."
"Yo soy un niño ILORI."
These are the kids your shoe donation reaches, at a recent Casa Ilori event.
